HX1000 Multi Ribbon Inserting Machine

The HX1000 Multi-Ribbon Inserting Machine is designed for automatic insertion of multiple ribbon markers into book blocks in a single production process. Featuring a modular, multi-station configuration, each station independently applies one ribbon, allowing ribbons of different colors and styles to be inserted simultaneously without interference. According to the book design, ribbons can be positioned either overlapping or side by side, while ribbon ends can be cut straight, angled, or swallow-tail shaped to meet different finishing requirements. The machine automatically feeds book blocks and sequentially applies ribbons at each station, with hot-melt adhesive ensuring secure and reliable attachment. Ribbon bonding strength is verified by a pull-strength test of up to 7.5 kg. Fully computer-controlled with a simple and intuitive operating interface, the HX1000 enables format changeovers in under 15 minutes, helping minimize downtime between production jobs. It can operate as a standalone multi-ribbon inserting machine or be seamlessly integrated inline with a three-side trimmer for continuous book production. For standalone operation, only one operator is required at the infeed to load book blocks and one operator at the delivery end to collect finished books and tuck the ribbon tails into the spine. When integrated with a three-side trimming line, front-end feeding labor can be further reduced.
