The HX460D Semi-Automatic Book Sewing Machine is designed for high-quality thread sewing of gathered signatures, covering book sizes from 150 × 80 mm to 460 × 320 mm. The operator manually places the gathered signatures onto the feeding station, while the machine automatically performs signature feeding, thread sewing, thread cutting, counting, and finished book block delivery at speeds of up to 90 cycles per minute.
Equipped with up to 14 sets of fine needles and a minimum needle pitch of 16 mm, the HX460D supports dense and precise sewing for a wide range of bookbinding applications. Its PLC control system, variable-frequency drive, color touchscreen, LED lighting, and photoelectric sensors provide reliable operation and automatic monitoring of thread breakage, broken needles, thread-hooking failure, as well as missing or multiple signatures.
A heat-treated, wear-resistant cam system, adjustable bearing rollers, and centralized lubrication help maintain accurate needle alignment, smooth mechanical operation, and stable long-term performance.
