HDP SS4500 Digital Saddle Stitcher

The HDP SS4500 Digital Saddle Stitcher is designed to work with both roll-fed and cut-sheet digital finishing systems for flexible production of a wide range of saddle-stitched products. It supports fully digital content, mixed digital and conventional content, or conventional content only, with either self-covers or separately fed covers, providing high flexibility for different booklet production requirements. Operating at speeds of up to 4,500 books per hour, the HDP SS4500 features a dynamic folding unit that supports seamless 4-page jumps, helping minimize blank pages and improve production efficiency. The system also supports dynamic perforation, multi-job production, and variable data workflows with minimal operator intervention. The stitching unit automatically adjusts according to product thickness and required wire length, while the three-knife trimmer automatically adapts to corresponding format changes.
