The HDP120 Digital Book Block Separating Feeder is designed for automatic separation and feeding of glued book blocks with varying thicknesses in digital finishing lines. By reading the code on each book block, the system detects the actual product thickness in real time and automatically adjusts the separating process accordingly, enabling flexible handling of variable-thickness production.
During operation, stacked book blocks are aligned along one edge, while a height-adjustable lifting platform raises the target book block to the separating plate. The selected book block is then smoothly pushed onto the downstream conveyor for continuous processing, helping ensure stable and accurate feeding throughout the production workflow.
The HDP120 uses an upward-pushing separation method to reduce friction between book blocks, helping prevent surface damage, feeding resistance, and jamming. This makes it particularly suitable for glued and flexible book blocks. Combining code recognition, real-time thickness detection, automatic height adjustment, and low-friction separation, the HDP120 provides an efficient and reliable book block feeding solution for digital and variable-data finishing lines.
